On the windward side of the island, driving from Kahului towards Hana, you'll find Maui's North Shore communities of Spreckelsville, Paia, Kuau, and Haiku. World famous windsurfing beach Ho'okipa is in Kuau, and towsurfing spots like Jaws are within a short drive.
